RASOR FP120M

Model FP120M is a pneumatic cutting machine for cutting textiles, technical fabrics, and composite materials with high thickness, even multilayered. This is the most powerful cutting machine Rasor has ever produced. The air motor is fully developed by Rasor itself. Thanks to the latest generation of mechanical and pneumatic components, the excellent turbine reaches a power of 800 W at 15,500 rpm and a very high torque. The excellence of this recently developed model is due to the new geometry of the motor housing of the Monster series. Unlike other cutting machine models, the FP120M has a motor housing supported by a central foot behind the blade. This system distributes the sliding tension and the required force to move the machine through the fabric on both sides of the cutter, resulting in a perfectly straight and smooth cut. The blade is semi-free on both sides to prevent fiber rolling issues, even with strong fibers. The FP120M is particularly suitable for cutting composite materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar. The mounted blade with a diameter of 120 mm and 8 cutting edges allows cutting any type of material in the "flexible phase" up to a cutting thickness of 50 mm. The push-button sharpening stone allows sharpening the blade edge in less than 10 seconds without removing the blade. The high torque and low speed of the blade make it possible to cut rubber material with a plastic base, for example in carpet and light flooring applications. The FP120M is particularly suitable for cross-cutting and installation in small spaces and is equipped with an anchor flange for easy mounting on fixed or automatic brackets. The Teflon® coated aluminum base reduces friction between the foot and the material and allows smooth forward movement, even when mounted on sliding rails. For continuous trimming, the FP120M is also available in a left-side (mirrored) version as model FP120SM. The FP120M simply equals top power and top performance for your OEM application.
