Rasor GRT12DT

Model GRT12DT is a three-phase cutting unit suitable for cutting thick materials in the technical textile and composite materials industry. Thanks to the double carbide counter blade, the GRT12DT can cut in both directions (via a frequency converter). This feature saves a cutting pass and thus time when cross-cutting. The three-phase induction motor is balanced and quiet. It is maintenance-free and can therefore be used 24 hours a day without any problems. This type of motor, in combination with bronze/steel couplings, ensures a reliable and durable cutting unit. The 120 mm 8-sided blade allows a cutting thickness of up to 50 mm, even with multiple layers. The high torque combined with the low speed of the blade makes it possible to cut even rubber and plastic materials, for example for carpets and industrial floors. The push-button sharpening stone allows the blade edge to be sharpened in less than 10 seconds without having to remove the blade. The aluminum base is equipped with a Teflon® coating to reduce friction with the material and can be mounted in a small space on sliding rails. The GRT12DT is particularly suitable for cross-cuts and is equipped with an anchor flange for easy adjustment on fixed or automated suspension systems. The powerful and bidirectional cut makes the GRT12DT the perfect solution for the most complex OEM applications.
